Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit and Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advisory services to clients, executing audit plans, and ensuring timely completion of reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory
    • Proactively engage with clients as a professional financial expert advisory.
  • Audit Execution
    • Work in teams to execute audit plans and strategies.
    • Ensure timely completion of reports for management's further analysis.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Prepare and conduct audits on financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
    • Report audit progress, findings, and significant auditing issues to senior management.
  • Support and Development
    • Assist in reviewing financial statements for other branches.
    • Support in setting up systems and enhancing internal control.
    • Manage assigned audit and tax-related tasks by superior.
    • Supervise and coach junior coworkers.
    • Participate in professional training development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Possess at least a Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience
    • Preferred at least 2-3 years of experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Fundamental knowledge of Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) software.
    • Understanding of ISQM 1.
    • Understanding of e-Invoicing functions.
    • Advanced knowledge/Tech savvy with auditing and tax software (AuditSME, Audit Express, and Superior Tax) will be an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with audit flow and tax processes.
    • Prior leadership experience will be an advantage.
    • Clear and strong command of English/Mandarin language.
