Job Description

The Company Secretary Assistant role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring compliance with corporate secretarial requirements, and facilitating meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including responding to emails, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all corporate secretarial requirements are met, including maintaining accurate statutory records and managing corporate exercises.
  • Facilitate Meetings: Coordinate meetings efficiently by preparing and distributing meeting materials, securing dates, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Prepare Board Papers: Ensure all board papers adhere to the company's standard format before circulation to the Board of Directors and Board Committees.
  • Coordinate Directors' Circular Resolution: Assist with the coordination of Directors' Circular Resolutions within the specified timeframe to obtain Board of Directors' approval.
  • Respond to Inquiries: Respond to inquiries and communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, auditors, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage Director Remuneration: Assist with the preparation of requisitions for Directors' remuneration, including monthly and meeting allowances.
  • Support Projects: Provide support for projects and assignments as directed by superiors.
