The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IT systems across the organization, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement IT systems that meet the organization's needs, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline system deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor system health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work collaboratively with the Infra team and development teams to integrate automation solutions into existing and new systems.
  • Server and Virtualization Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Install and configure hypervisors on physical servers, ensuring hardware compatibility and optimal settings for performance and security.
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP) and services is highly desirable.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document system configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain a clear and accurate IT infrastructure overview.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer who possesses the following qualifications:

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a systems position, with a proven track record in managing IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef) would be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
