We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at OCBC. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  6. Industry Knowledge and Best Practices: Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to data analysis and data science in auditing.
Requirements
  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and data science, or relevant experience, is necessary.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Power BI, as well as data science tools and programming languages like Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies, is essential.
  4. Technical Skills: Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques is required.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities are necessary, as well as strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical auditors.
  6. Personal Qualities: A curious personality with the ability to think outside the box would be beneficial in this role, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Additional Requirements: Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to self-motivate to achieve outcomes and results are also required.
  8. Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and banking industry best practices is a plus.
