Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing Accounts Receivable (AR) & Inter-Companies Reconciliation services to business units in accordance with established processes, work procedures and in compliance with BASF policies, Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC), local company legal and statutory requirements.

Main Tasks
  • Process incoming receipts made by customers with various payment methods in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Process customer rebates contract maintenance & rebate settlement credit notes for 3rd party customers.
  • Generate statement of accounts & dunning letters for the customers.
  • Resolving account discrepancies such as unallocated/unidentified receipts.
Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance/ Accounting or related disciplines or Professional qualification in Finance (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.) is required. Fresh graduates with Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting or related disciplines are also considered. External experience in a shared service or business process outsourcing engagement will be an added advantage.

  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate with service recipients.
  • Good time management, good organization skills and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to excel under pressure for meeting any tight deadlines.
