Job Summary:

As a Tax Advisory Expert, you will provide advisory and consultancy services to clients on tax compliance requirements. You will also develop and implement effective tax compliance procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advisory and consultancy services to clients on tax compliance requirements.
  2. Develop and implement effective tax compliance procedures and policies.
  3. Supervise and coach junior staff in tax compliance and tax administration.
  4. Provide training and technical guidance to clients and colleagues.
  5. Assist and support in advisory and consultancy work such as tax audit queries by IRB.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline and/or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA graduate).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in the related field.
  • Able to manage multiple engagements, work independently with minimum supervision and deadline-driven.
  • Knowledgeable in both corporate and personal income tax laws.
  • Able to research independently tax issues using tax tools provided.
  • Experience with tax incentive applications will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Command of spoken Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • Pleasant disposition, possess high integrity and self-motivated with a positive outlook in life.
  • Willing to work in Johor Bahru.
