About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Testing Engineer to join our team at Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing well test operations on rigs to achieve testing objectives and ensure process safety.

The role involves:

  • Developing well test basis of design and program following industry standards
  • Analysing well testing string stress and flow assurance using software such as WELLCAT, OLGA, etc.
  • Planning and coordinating well test activities including preparing the full testing services scope of work, budgeting, contractor evaluation during tender process
  • Identifying and procuring interface requirements of well test design/plan
  • Leading well test specific project risk assessments and HAZOP/HAZID risk assessments, providing fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Responsible for overall safety of well test operations
  • Monitoring drilling supervisors offshore, including installation of Burner Booms and re-certification, load testing, contractors QAQC, certification verification, checklist for testing operations

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of total experience in offshore well testing and completions
  • Preferably have maintained assignments up to recent one (1) year, which includes;
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in deep-water (i.e., on a floating MODUs), well testing including both on-site supervision and onshore support roles
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in well testing, at an operator company(s), including engineering, project management, tendering, contracting, logistics coordination, QAQC management, HSE management, operational support, on-site supervision and campaign close-out
  • Availability to go to rig site as required
  • Good contractor management skills
  • Fluent in English language both writing & spoken
  • Valid BOSIET and IWCF Well Intervention Certificate Course (Subsea Supervisor level)
  • Specific Skills required: Well Cat, PETEX (PROSPER) / Wellflo / Olga / Aspen HYSYS, BASIC Well Test Interpretation, Flow Assurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
