Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Executing interface designs from concept to prototyping to final hand-off to the development team.
  2. Proficient in design software such as Figma and Adobe.
  3. Gathering and evaluating user requirements and transforming complex concepts into intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly designs.
  4. Work closely with various functional teams to support design needs.
  5. Working closely and provide direction or guidance to junior designers.
  6. Experience in executing design language system is a plus.
  7. Conducting user research, benchmarking, usability testing, evaluating user feedback and providing rectification suggestions.
  8. Stay up to date on industry and user experience trends, best practices and technology and promote them within the team.
  9. Continuously study and explore greater ways to improve the user experience on the company's digital platform.
  10. Provide design solutions and product direction together with product team through user journeys, persona development, wireframes, prototypes.
  11. Able to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to product team and stakeholders.
  12. Provide technical guidance such as teaching a new design skill.
  13. Completion of assigned tasks within defined timelines and scope.
  14. Ensure efficiency of designed interfaces and user journeys to meet the project's objectives and KPIs.
  15. Ensure design visions and directions are aligned within the team and stakeholders.
  16. Ensure junior designers understand the expected delivery.
  17. Designers must be proactive and at times be independent in handling a few tasks on hand at the same time.
  18. Time management between tasks.
  19. Coordinating UX activities including participant recruitment and logistics can be tedious and time-consuming.
  20. To gather opinions, feedback and approval within the time frame given.

  1. Must be proactive, demonstrate initiatives and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  2. Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong work ethics.
  4. Possess good knowledge in product design processes.
  5. Familiar with executing user journeys, information architectures, wireframes, prototypes and presentation slides.
  6. Ability to articulate design rationale and communicate effectively.
  7. Ability to work independently, as well as a good team player.
  8. Attention to details, with a can-do attitude.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  10. Ability to coach and guide juniors.
