As a Treasury Management Professional at ACCA Careers, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our global business. Reporting to the APAC Treasury and Payment Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing financing, treasury, and payment topics across all brands in APAC (excluding China, Japan, and Korea). You will liaise with the Group Payment Manager and the Corporate Treasury team in Paris to ensure seamless execution of these tasks.

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Create liquidity forecasts and monitor the liquidity position to optimize cash flow.
  • Manage region cash pools and perform cash dis-positioning via SAP to minimize costs.
  • Handle internal and external loan applications and rollovers to maintain adequate funding.
  • Cash pooling and interest scaling in-house posting and bank systems.

Banking Infrastructure

  • Manage banking credit facilities limits to ensure sufficient allocation to each brand.
  • Administer bank E-Banking Portal accounts, including authorization and setup, user access, and roles.
  • Provide advisory services and troubleshoot bank account and payment-related issues.
  • Implement new bank accounts (BAM) and payment infrastructure, including SWIFT connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate bank account master data in BAM, creating, modifying, and closing accounts as needed.
  • Manage electronic bank statements (EBS), addressing any issues with receipt in SAP promptly.
  • Liaise with the Brand and Internal Legal teams on opening and closing external bank accounts, updating group banking databases for local bank and BAM account data.

Bank Power of Attorney (POA)

  • Update bank signatories, liaising with Internal Legal, advising and assisting Brands in the POA process.
  • Manage Board Resolutions (BRs), collaborating with Bank Officers on drafting BRs for confirmation and circulation to Board Directors.
  • Support required bank documentation for updating bank signatories, including certifying true copies.

In Store Payment

  • Coordinate terminal requests in stores and manage OTC access for store staff/Company users.
  • Manage Payment Link user access and termination.

Bank Guarantee

  • Manage new and renewed bank guarantees (BGs), ensuring BG limits are sufficiently allocated.
  • Reconcile BG records monthly, ensuring accuracy and eliminating duplicates in banking facilities limits.
  • Inform Brands monthly of BG utilization and address any limit matters with the Brand.

Overarching Activities

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards for these topics.
  • Manage treasury documentation and administration according to standard processes and comply with global policies.
  • Continuously optimize processes and solutions, automating work wherever possible.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, consistency, and transparency of transactions.
  • Support internal control and audit for these activities.
  • Job scope rotation in MY, SG, HK, MO, AU, NZ, TH, VN, PH, IN, TW, with one headcount covering 3-4 countries based on seniority level and experience.
  • Additional operational tasks as assigned by the Regional Treasury and Payment Senior Manager.

Profile

  • A minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or banking is required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in corporate treasury, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in business English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and effective in communicating with Brands/Internal Legal teams and Bank Officers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in creating and using Microsoft Forms and Power Automate.
  • A great teammate with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Decent learning agility and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced user of bank portals and understands the flow.
  • Inquisitive and reciprocal to other functions.
  • Good understanding of information systems, workflows, and technologies in the workplace.
  • Important behavioral traits include being accountable, responsible, transparent, and reliable.
  • Strong functional knowledge of treasury is essential.
  • Good business acumen and understanding of cross-function interdependencies.
  • Experience with Diapason and Treasury knowledge of SAP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience handling regional stakeholders.
  • Experience working with international financial/banking institutions, and thorough knowledge of commercial banking practices is an added advantage.
