We're a leading coating resins company that serves customers in over 100 countries across the globe. Our Global Business Services team plays a crucial role in supporting our business operations, and we're looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Analyst to join our team.

Your Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading our APAC indirect tax compliance cycles, collaborating with our tax team to ensure best practices in APAC, and overseeing indirect tax compliance, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective indirect tax strategies to minimize risks and optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tax processes.
  • Provide expert tax advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Analyse complex tax issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and update tax systems, including ERP enhancements due to legislative changes.

What You Need

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect tax, preferably in an international or shared service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Asian and other regional indirect tax frameworks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Business-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Finance or Tax with focus on Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent education.
