Job Description:

Purpose Statement: The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable materials for corporate contracts within a designated commodity scope. This individual will develop and administer contracts that leverage the company's total volume, creating supply chain strategies to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Additionally, they will generate forecasts and purchase reports for management as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a forward growth strategy for assigned commodities by conducting industry research and maintaining a high degree of business knowledge regarding manufacturers, suppliers, and marketplaces.
  2. Establish performance objectives and associated metrics for the Commodities Group, tracking progress on a monthly or quarterly basis as directed.
  3. Provide support to sites in the region during critical component escalations.
  4. Cultivate and maintain regional and global strategic supplier relationships with executives for major component types within assigned commodities.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics.
  • Strong experience driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Demonstrated expertise in commodity management.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Project management experience.
