  7. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  8. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
  9. Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and other relevant laws.
  10. Provide support in financial decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA. Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations is essential. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero and Microsoft Excel is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines are also necessary. Good communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
