Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to develop cutting-edge FPGA-based system solutions for various industries. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing new firmware, drivers, and test code for host to peripheral/device communications and system orchestration.
- Validating and testing firmware and driver codes, conducting regression testing on components and systems.
- Creating product documentation to guide end-users on integrating Lattice design solutions and software into their products.
- Providing technical support to Field Applications Engineers and end customers on integration-related issues.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in embedded FW and/or low-level driver development.
- Strong understanding of Windows software development, including driver, service, library, and application software development.
- Knowledge of FPGA design flow and development tools is desired.
- RISC-V system knowledge is an asset.
- Proficiency in using embedded development tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, I2C/SPI analyzers, and USB analyzers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity to translate research concepts into practical solutions.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
