We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at HATA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital asset platform.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance methodologies and experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, K6, and Appium. A solid understanding of SQL and database management is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed test plans and executing manual or automated test cases. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and release.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and design documents.
  • Execute manual or automated tests, analyze results, and evaluate product functionality.
  • Log, track, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle from discovery to closure using bug tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools or commercial tools, as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and other QA engineers) to ensure smooth product development and release.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, K6, Appium).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with databases.
