About MISC GroupMISC Group is a leading player in the energy and logistics sector, with a strong presence in Malaysia.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of corporate tax returns across MISC Group (e.g. submission of annual tax filing, tax estimates etc.).
- Prepare Transfer Pricing Documentation and assist with Group Transfer pricing model across MISC Group.
- Attend to the tax authorities' requests in a tax audit exercise, coordinating meetings/discussions with relevant stakeholders, preparing responses to the tax authorities, and following up for closure of the audit.
- Assist the Manager in providing planning advice for the Group (inclusive of new business set-ups) to minimize the Group's tax liability.
- Assist with assessing implications of new tax rulings and legislations and provide recommendations for Groupwide applications.
- Collaborate with other departments to direct non-compliance issues noted to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.
