Job Description

The Chief Financial Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's business goals.

  • Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts, including annual budgets and financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure smooth operations of the company.

The successful candidate will also:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts, including annual budgets and financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure smooth operations of the company.

2. Financial Reporting and Management:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

3. Financial Risk Management:

  • Identify, analyze, and manage the company's financial risks.
  • Develop and implement financial control policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

4. Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant financial laws and regulations.
  • Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

5. Team Management:

  • Lead and guide the finance team in their daily tasks.
  • Provide training and development to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a financial management role.
