Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Academic Professional in Clinical Psychology to join our esteemed faculty. This role requires a Master of Clinical Psychology with 4 years teaching experience and a PhD from a recognized university in Psychology.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a meaningful contribution to our institution's academic excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking teaching and learning duties, including designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials, as well as conducting classes, lectures, tutorials, and practicals.

  • Teaching & Learning: Develop and implement high-quality teaching strategies to optimize student learning, while motivating them to achieve their full potential.
  • Research: Participate in scholarly activities, including research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work, to advance knowledge in Clinical Psychology.
  • Administration & Other Activities: Contribute to administrative responsibilities, such as attending departmental meetings, participating in committees, and establishing linkages with external organizations/professional bodies.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong publication record, with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years. Additionally, they should have secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative) and graduated at least 2 PhD students.
