Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist NPI to join our team at Advanced Energy. This role involves procurement of high-quality materials and services while ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Planning: Develop and implement effective purchase plans to meet business requirements, including identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and managing inventory levels.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including supply chain teams, production personnel, and engineering departments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing/Logistics/Material Management, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Minimum six (6) to eight (8) years of working experience in manufacturing or new product introduction environments.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and procurement systems and procedures.
