Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, sensory, and motor skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with the child's family and the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and goals.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and practices to address specific skills and challenges.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for child development.
  • Provide education and support to parents and caregivers on strategies to promote their child's development at home.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child's progress, using data to inform treatment planning and adjustments.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of outreach programs, workshops, and community events to increase awareness and understanding of services.
Requirements
  • Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric therapy, with knowledge of child development, neurodiversity, and sensory processing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and affirming environment for all children and families.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research in the field.
  • Fluency in English, with Multilingualism preferred (Bahasa, Mandarin, Tamil)
