As a Regulatory Assurance Specialist at Hong Leong Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to independently review the Banking Group's existing processes and provide advisory solutions to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

The key objectives of this role include:

  • Providing assurance to senior management and the Chief Compliance Officer that the bank's compliance is adequately managed.
  • Reviewing and detecting regulatory non-compliance by the Business and Support Units for local and overseas operations.
  • Supporting the Group's Compliance framework, initiatives, and activities in line with the Group's strategic direction, regulatory, and global standards.

To achieve these objectives, you will work closely with stakeholders across business and support units to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures. You will also assist in submission of relevant regulatory compliance reports to regulatory bodies on compliance matters.

As a Regulatory Assurance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to partner with various stakeholders to drive business growth and success while ensuring regulatory compliance.
