We are seeking a highly skilled VOIP Systems Engineer to join our team at Stampede Solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of VOIP systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain VOIP hardware and software components, including phones, gateways, routers, and switches.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor VOIP network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users for VOIP-related problems and inquiries.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Assist in the integration of VOIP systems with other communication technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new VOIP solutions.

Operational Management:

  • PBX Server Configuration: Configure PBX server with Asterisk, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of VOIP systems.
  • Network Connectivity: Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and other network appliances.
  • IP Phone Configuration: Configure IP phones, GSM gateways, and PRI gateways to integrate seamlessly with VOIP infrastructure, enabling efficient communication.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement procedures for backup and disaster recovery of VOIP systems, safeguarding against data loss and ensuring business continuity.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for VOIP configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, facilitating knowledge transfer and training.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring PBX server with Asterisk and familiarity with Vicidial.
  • Experience: Proven experience with VOIP phone systems.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Asterisk and experience in troubleshooting Asterisk-based systems.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Data Privacy: Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Research and Prioritization: Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required, and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Skills:

  • Call Admission Control (VoIP Protocols): Proficient in Call Admission Control (VoIP Protocols).
  • Voice Over IP: Experienced in Voice Over IP.
