We require a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team at OCBC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and be able to ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial and regulatory reports to Group and to BNM and other regulatory authorities;
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and board papers;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (i.e., IFRS & MFRS), policies and regulatory guidelines;
  • Liaise with external bankers and regulators on clarifications and provide additional information as needed;
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research and financial report analysis for senior management;
  • Participate in project and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Professional qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, Qlikview, Power Query, Power BI and other tools.
  • A self-starter with good communication and analytical skills.
