About the Role

This position plays a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of Technical Accounting in the APMA region. The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Accounting reporting based on IFRS standards and a strong background in technical accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical accounting direction across the full Novartis Organisation for the region, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the Novartis Accounting Manual.
  • Communicate and coordinate regional Technical Accounting matters with various stakeholders, including regional and country CFOs, and external auditors.
  • Manage the intangible assets impairment process, delivering documented impairment testing and coordinating with business partners and external auditors.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, together with a professional qualification (CA/CPA).
  • 6-8 years of experience in public accounting in a capacity within a blue-chip multinational environment.
