About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Flex PTP.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization, under the guidance of the Quality Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop quality engineering standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
  2. Create sampling procedures and design forms for recording quality and reliability data.
  3. Implement methods for disposition of discrepant material and assess associated costs.
  4. Oversee workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulate quality data.
  5. Compile training material and conduct training sessions on quality control.
  6. Serve as liaison between Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers on quality matters.
  7. Maintain accurate and reliable quality data and report results.
  8. Identify areas requiring corrective action and implement solutions.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement quality audits.
  10. Develop and maintain quality standards for product manufacturing.
  11. Design and implement inspection and testing methods for production equipment.
  12. Analyze product returns and recommend corrective actions.
  13. Establish evaluation programs for production equipment and facilities.
  14. Audit and approve product, process and equipment qualifications.
  15. Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
