Job Description

As a key member of our team at CTechno Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the Purchasing Executive will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement activities. This involves demand analysis, supplier selection, price negotiation, order management, quality control, inventory optimization, cost control, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: Forecast and plan the demand for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods based on sales forecasts and sales orders to ensure timely production.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Focus on evaluating suppliers' delivery capabilities, quality control, and cost competitiveness to ensure the selection of reliable suppliers that meet production needs.
  • Daily Procurement: Assist with the procurement needs for daily operations of the office and factory.
  • Quality Inspection: Participate in the acceptance and quality inspection of raw materials to ensure that purchased materials meet the factory's production quality standards.
  • Purchase Order Management: Responsible for creating, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Inventory Optimization: Optimize inventory levels based on production needs and market dynamics, implementing Just-in-Time (JIT) procurement strategies to reduce inventory costs.
  • Cost Control and Budget: Monitor procurement costs and analyze expenses to optimize budget allocation.
  • Production Support: Collaborate closely with the production department to understand changes in material demand during the production process.
  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure that purchased materials comply with environmental and safety standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Regularly analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide optimization recommendations.
