Responsibilities
  • Design and implement LANs and WLANs for our clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, including call tracking and escalation
  • Monitor network utilization and status using network management software and tools
  • Create and update documentation, including configuration and schematic diagrams
  • Educate customers on LAN and WLAN configuration
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries and deliver quality services
  • Assist in resolving complex network problems and provide network design options
Requirements and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in network support, implementation, and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of IP subnetting, routing protocols, layer 2 protocols, VLAN segmentations, STP, RSTP, VRRP, HSRP, ACLs, PBR, and network monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Valid networking product certification from Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, Ruckus, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, or Check Point Firewall
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing
  • Experience with firewall appliance products, wireless access points, access control lists, VRF, port security, traffic shaping, priority queuing, class of service, and quality of service
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written
