Technical Team Lead Position for Innovative Software Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Team Lead to join our team in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple multidisciplinary software development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions according to our innovation roadmap.

• Team Leadership: Lead, build, maintain, inspire, and develop multiple multidisciplinary software development teams.
• Solution Delivery: Deliver solutions according to the innovation roadmap with the team(s) and in collaboration with product and marketing managers.
• Quality Management: Ensure that all software quality issues related to development, integration, testing, and performance of applications are managed and act as a point of escalation in related fields.
• Methodology Implementation: Initiate and implement effective software development methodologies and processes.
• Innovation Drive: Drive innovation on both technical and functional levels.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure software is developed according to standards and recommended designs.
• Tech Vision: Participate in formulating the short- and long-term technical vision and direction of the company.
• Technology Strategy: Execute the technology strategy in specific areas or products to support the business and technology strategy.
• Tech Domain: Cover a specific technical domain as the key responsibility.
• People Management: Engage with team members daily: managing attendance and absenteeism, conducting team meetings and communications, overseeing leave management, and approving expense claims.
• Performance Management: Manage performance: setting team objectives and reviews, conducting regular check-ins and feedback dialogues, holding formal performance discussions, handling PIP, and conducting salary reviews.
• Talent Development: Oversee learning and development: identifying learning needs and creating learning plans, conducting career aspiration dialogues, and supporting personal development.
• Talent Acquisition: Manage talent acquisition: handling vacancy requests, participating in the recruitment process and decision-making on offers, and overseeing pre-boarding/on-boarding and exit processes.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Minimum 10 years: Experience in .NET development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in unit testing and performing code reviews.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of clean code principles and SOLID design principles.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, with performance tuning experience being a plus.
• Technical Skills: Experience with web service APIs such as REST and WCF/SOAP.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum and Agile product development methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
