Job Overview

Apical Scientific Sdn Bhd seeks a skilled Laboratory Technician to fill a Shift Leader position on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the noon shift team in workflow arrangement and order fulfillment.

  1. Ensure quality outputs through strong monitoring and guidance to team members.
  2. Perform laboratory activities from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM during the noon shift.
  3. Coordinate daily workflows in respective working shifts.
  4. Work overtime as assigned by the Laboratory Officer / Assistant Production Manager.
  5. Perform additional duties assigned by the Assistant Production Manager.

Requirements

  1. Hold a degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.
  2. Have at least 2 years of experience in laboratory-based working environments.
  3. Possess molecular biology background or leadership skills.
  4. Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
