About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Piping Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the piping design and construction activities for our projects.


Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Liaise with the project manager, engineering manager, and project engineer to furnish them with the latest piping progress and input.
    • Assume the technical responsibility of all piping design and piping support activities for his project.
  • Piping Discipline Lead:
    • Responsible for the engineering design, construction, and execution of piping systems.
    • Knowledgeable in industry piping codes and standards, and familiar with industry equipment codes.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Attend project coordination meetings and client review meetings when required.
    • Coordinate with sub-contracting department to provide piping MTO and necessary job specification for fabrication and construction contract.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain the quality of work produced as stated in piping & material DWP and by the company.
    • Issue the piping discipline PQP (if required by project team).
  • Close-out Activities:
    • Archive of project documents after the job completion.
    • Compile all project statistics on matters relating to piping progress and deliverables from the start of the project.
    • Prepare the project close out report.
