Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing cost accounting processes and procedures to support the financial framework of the Greenfield manufacturing site.
  • Providing regular cost reports and insights to support management in cost optimization and control.
  • Partnering with the existing Global Operations Finance team to transition from tactical to strategic cost accounting functions.
  • Coordinating and managing the external audit process as it pertains to cost accounting.
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommending corrective actions to optimize costs.
  • Supporting the finance team in developing and updating budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Actively participating in Business Process Excellence initiatives in connection with the implementation of Oracle Fusion cloud-based ERP.
  • Working closely with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to understand production processes and their impact on cost structures.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements in cost accounting and inventory management.
