About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at HOYA Electronics. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of supplies and managing our inventory to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that optimize costs, maintain quality standards, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with potential suppliers to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze demand patterns, forecast future requirements, and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and surpluses.
  • Purchasing and Sourcing: Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our daily operations.
  • Category Management: Develop and implement category management strategies to optimize procurement costs and improve supplier performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, or category management within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in sourcing related skills, including sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management, supplier performance management, and change management process and project management.
  • Software: Proficiency with Planning/ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
