Responsibilities and Requirements- Draft and review contracts with precision, providing expert legal counsel on marketing matters across diverse jurisdictions.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on tax, marketing, and corporate issues related to our B2B operations.
- Assist with licensing processes, ensure ongoing compliance across all Deriv entities, and keep senior leadership well-informed about legal and regulatory changes affecting the company.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and resolve disputes.
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit, or risk function.
- Undergraduate degree in Law or related fields.
- Experience in investment services, e-commerce, online marketing, and reviewing contracts.
- Understanding of regulations governing the fintech industry and basic tax laws.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
- Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Great attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
