Job Summary

This role will play a critical part in monitoring and evaluating the performance of our contracted transport vendors. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with internal teams to drive vendor compliance and service levels, while maintaining operational standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all transport vendors, including on-time delivery, transit time adherence, vehicle turnaround time, trip reliability, and exception handling.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors; develop and maintain performance scorecards and dashboards to measure efficiency and reliability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transport-related escalations tied to vendor performance. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve service failures, delays, and non-compliance.
  • Identify recurring service gaps and work with vendors to implement corrective and preventive actions. Propose and execute improvement plans aligned with service level agreements.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to operational, safety, and statutory compliance requirements. Maintain up-to-date records of service level agreements, audit reports, and insurance documents.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure timely vehicle placement, load execution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for vendors to align on operational standards, technology adoption, and compliance protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration. Advanced education or certifications in supply chain/logistics are a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation operations or vendor management, preferably with a 3PL, logistics, or large distribution network setup.
  • Proven track record of managing vendor performance and service-level compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with dashboards and operational data.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
