  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisory Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate advisory and a proven track record of successfully advising clients on complex matters.

About the Role: As a Corporate Advisory Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the origination and execution of corporate finance advisory mandates, which shall encompass formulating and undertaking business development and origination functions and coordinating interdepartmental liaisons to identify opportunities through business relationships with existing and new clientele base.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with senior colleagues to advise clients on complex matters related to mergers and acquisitions, privatization exercises, initial public offerings, and equity fund raising.
  • You will be expected to possess good knowledge of Malaysian regulatory and execution process, including the relevant guidelines i.e. SC Equity Guidelines and CMSA, Bursa Securities Listing Requirements and SC Rules on Take-Overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions.
  • You will focus on delivering high-quality advice to clients and building strong relationships with them.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must have a Capital Market Services Representatives Licence as issued by Securities Commission, Malaysia.
  • You should possess a good university degree or Masters, preferably in accounting, finance or business.
  • You will require minimum of 5 years of experience either solely in corporate finance/investment banking or in aggregate with relevant corporate experience.
  • You should be able to manage complex projects independently with some guidance from seniors.
  • You should possess good networking base and good interpersonal/presentation skills.
  • You should be passionate about delivering high-quality results and driven to excel.
