Principal Engineer I4.0

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer I4.0 to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our automation strategy forward.

• Develop and Execute Comprehensive Automation Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, define project scopes, and establish implementation plans that align with our organization's overall manufacturing objectives and I4.0 framework.
• Lead Automation Projects: Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of automation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Establish Connectivity and Data Automation: Develop and implement data automation strategies to streamline production workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making processes.
• Ensure Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to automation, data privacy, and cybersecurity.

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical field, with relevant working experience and knowledge in the semiconductor industry.
• Automation Expertise: Experience in leading the implementation and integration of automation technologies, including robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT devices, into manufacturing processes.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the interplay between automation, error-proofing, and productivity improvement.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Proven track record of ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
