The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make prudent business-focused decisions effectively and timely.
The role involves reviewing and underwriting complicated cases, achieving a high settlement ratio, ensuring Turn-Around-Time and service level are efficiently managed, and providing technical consultation/advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and underwrite complicated cases and achieve a high settlement ratio.
- Make prudent business-focused decisions effectively and timely.
- Ensure Turn-Around-Time and service level are efficiently managed.
- Engage with business peers/partners and act professionally to liaise with Life Planners.
- Provide technical consultation/advice and provide solutions to guide agents to get the case finalized.
- Prioritize consultation and underwriting services for premier Life Planners.
- Involved in Compliance screening related tasks and ensure continuous compliance with regulations/procedures set for Customer Onboarding Department. Provide top priority service to all complaint cases.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisors/HOD to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a tertiary qualification preferably in Medical Science or equivalent. You should have at least 3-5 years of working experience in the Life Insurance Industry in medical and financial underwriting, the legal aspect of life insurance.
You must have strong interpersonal & delegation skills, able to share ideas, suggestions, or guidelines clearly with the team, build good relationships & trust at all levels, and produce high-quality work under pressure.
