Job Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Sets up cost control procedures to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses.
  2. Establishes budgets and specific tools to monitor project costs, ensuring timely updates and analysis.
  3. Estimates total forecasts, quantity/costs, and expected outcomes, providing valuable insights for project optimization.
  4. Supports risk management by preparing quantitative risk analysis, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  5. Reviews and approves commitment control and vendor/subcontractor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborates with project managers to optimize budgeted profits, analyzing financial data to inform strategic decisions.
  7. Develops and implements change orders/claims, following up on progress and ensuring successful resolution.
  8. Generates monthly internal project management review (PMR) and external status reports (client reports).
  9. Creates cash flow projections on a monthly basis, forecasting future project expenses and revenues.
  10. Develops statistical and close-out reports, analyzing past projects to improve estimation tools and enhance future contract/proposal success.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
  2. 4 to 5 years of experience in related field, with a proven track record of successful cost control.
  3. Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of cost control tools and methodologies, with ability to apply them effectively.
  5. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
