Job Summary

MISC Berhad is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Lead/Senior Engineer Electrical and performing engineering calculations/analysis, drawings/layouts, and package specifications for project execution within stipulated schedule and cost.

You will develop and perform electrical engineering deliverables and tasks in Technology – OBU, to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust, and cost-effective floating offshore facilities design and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop basis of design, functional & equipment specifications, and SOW for MSQ/RFQ of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and perform the engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in offshore facilities (i.e. CPP, FPSO/FSO, FLNG, etc.).
  • Experience in floaters type electrical design aspect is preferred (Conceptual Study, FEED, and DDE).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in EPCC project for a specific engineering discipline role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or other related engineering discipline) from a recognized institution.
