Job ResponsibilitiesThis role involves making technical contributions to tax engagements, assisting in preparing reports and delivering them to clients and other parties.
You will help clients manage their tax risk and comply with complex legislation. This includes preparing tax computations and tax returns in accordance with the Income Tax Act 1967 for timely submission to the tax authorities.
You will provide tailored tax advice to clients and liaise directly with the authorities on tax matters. You will work together with teams, liaise directly with clients and maintain good relationships.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia.
You should possess good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills. You should be open to support business development efforts and possess technical knowledge and analytical skills.
You should be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and be hungry to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you should have good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
