Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Computational Biologist to join our team. As a Computational Biologist with a background in AI and machine learning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-driven algorithms to analyze digital pathology images and datasets.

You will be working closely with biologists, bioinformaticians, and other domain experts to understand biological requirements and translate them into AI-based solutions.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models for analyzing digital pathology images, including tissue slides, cellular structures, and molecular data.
- Work closely with biologists, bioinformaticians, and other domain experts to understand biological requirements and translate them into AI-based solutions.
- Design and optimize AI algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, classification, and prediction in the context of pathology.
- Utilize large-scale medical datasets (including histopathology, genomics, and clinical data) to train and validate AI models.
- Conduct rigorous model validation and performance evaluation to ensure clinical relevance, robustness, and generalizability of AI models.
- Collaborate with research teams to design experiments and analyze results that contribute to scientific publications or patent applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and digital pathology, and propose novel approaches for integrating them into our product development pipeline.
- Participate in the creation of technical documentation, including reports, user guides, and research papers.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Proven experience in digital pathology, including knowledge of medical imaging techniques (e.g., whole-slide imaging, histopathology, immunohistochemistry).
- Familiarity with image processing and computer vision techniques (e.g., convolutional neural networks, image segmentation).
- Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature extraction, and augmentation techniques for medical image analysis.
- Experience with large-scale biomedical datasets, including clinical data, pathology images, and genomic data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
