At Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd., we are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure. This includes working closely with other IT professionals to ensure that systems and network infrastructure are operating efficiently and securely.

Your role will involve conducting thorough IT system project studies, designing, installing, testing, and post-installation activities such as troubleshooting and performance optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for attending project meetings, conducting technical requirement studies, planning projects, and deploying IT systems with other team members.

  • Infrastructure Implementation: Implement and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Configuration and Deployment: Configure and deploy operating systems, applications, and services according to best practices.
  • System Upgrades: Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Communicate and collaborate with multiple personnel, including clients and vendors.
  • Documentation: Prepare pre- and post-project documentation.
  • Problem Resolution: Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation.
  • Technical Support: Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA.
Requirements
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing system infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and storages (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Result-oriented with excellent process and SOP execution skills with the right attitude.
  • Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 2-5 years working experience in a system operation position.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.
  • Occasionally weekend and public holiday work on a project basis.
