About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at TIME's group. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management and Support: Work as part of a 24x7 security operation team to handle and investigate security incidents, providing Level 2 (L2) support for root cause analysis and remediation recommendations within agreed SLAs. Assist customers with remediation implementation when necessary.
  • Advanced Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security events and alerts from detection systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, XDR) and perform advanced analysis to identify and respond to potential threats, including malware, phishing, unauthorized access, and network anomalies.
  • Security Systems Administration: Perform configuration, administration, and tuning of security systems and tools, ensuring optimal performance and reducing false positives.
  • Incident Response Playbooks: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve incident response playbooks and procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior SOC analysts, sharing best practices, threat hunting techniques, and incident handling strategies.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to proactively identify and address potential risks.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce detailed reports and documentation for incidents, including technical details, impact assessments, and mitigation steps, and prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports as required by the Customer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/ Information Technology or relevant field.
  • Preferably someone with 4-7 years of working experience as an SOC Analyst, with at least 2 years as a Level 2 Analyst. Candidates with below 2 years of working experience would be considered as junior (Level 1).
  • Experienced in using any SIEM/ XDR tools and basic incident response processes.
  • Knowledgeable in using Trend Micro Apex or other Security Monitoring software.
  • Deep knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security tools (SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, EDR).
  • Possesses certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH would be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong experience in incident response and threat hunting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
