Job Description

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and recording transactions, including posting journals for accruals, depreciations, and other journal entries.
  • Posting transactions to the ledger.
  • Performing reconciliations.
  • Preparing adjusting entries at the end of the period and supporting the month-end closing process.
  • Supporting the coordination with Regional Controlling teams and country finance to ensure alignment with group policies.
  • Providing technical accounting leadership, interpreting existing and proposed accounting guidance, and communicating its impact on our business and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements and automation strategies.
  3. Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
  4. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial activities.
  6. Support the annual audit process and prepare samples submission.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A diploma or degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Shared Service experience.
  • Experience working with multinational organizations, especially in high-growth environments.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system and automation tools (Power BI and Tableau) is an added advantage.
