Job Description

Elsa Energy Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for executing cost control activities for projects or departments.

The successful candidate will have a minimum degree in engineering or equivalent and at least 7 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas related industry with specific function in Project Cost Control, Cost estimation, or Project Control.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Total Cost Management Concepts & Terminologies and be compliant with the company's Project & Cost Control governance. They will also have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and solid networking and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Execute cost control activities for project or department
  • Provide cost control advice to internal PMT as and when required
  • Attend project meeting and discussion
  • Manage internal & external stakeholders

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Quantity Surveying or Science)
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas related industry with specific function in Project Cost Control, Cost estimation, or Project Control
  • Knowledgeable in Total Cost Management Concepts & Terminologies
  • Compliance to the company's Project & Cost Control governance
