Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Information Security Manager on day-to-day cybersecurity matters.
  • Collaborate with ICT department to deploy and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and facilities.
  • Uphold and promote company cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    • Participate in business and IT projects as cyber security subject matter expert.
    • Monitor and follow-up on outstanding cyber security issues.
    • Evaluate, test and deploy new security tools to laptops if necessary.
    • Validate service request tickets escalated by the service desk to ensure security.
    • Monitor and analyse reports and dashboards for security threats and eliminate or escalate to the appropriate team.
    • Prepare and maintain cybersecurity guidelines and processes.
    • Protect the information assets of the organisation at all times.

Day to Day Operations:

  • Performing IT security risk assessments and recommend solutions or options to minimise threats.
  • Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.
  • Track and keep up to date on latest IT security innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies.
  • Operate cybersecurity tools to identify, protect and remediate security issues.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders about IT security threats.
  • Develop and implement effective process for the reporting of security incidents.
  • Monitor the investigation of reported security breaches.
  • Comply with the latest regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct cyber security awareness as and when required.
  • Provide incidents investigation support upon requests or when external parties and JVs are involved.
  • Guide and coach junior cyber security analysts.
