Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join our team at ICHOR Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of engineering activities, including research, prototype development, product testing, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle products development from design to production stage.
  3. Ensuring efficient resolution of mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  4. Generating regular reports to track progress and improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in related role.
  3. Software proficiency: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Solid works, Inventor, 3D modelling and design & etc.
  4. Software skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suits (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  5. Problem-solving abilities: Apply your strong analytical skills and attention to details to overcome engineering challenges.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Pleasant customer service skills and time management.
  8. Excellent health and safety knowledge.
  9. Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Good writing and presentation skills.
