We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Risk Specialist to join our team at ACCA Careers. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments and quality control reviews to ensure full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accountancy or relevant field and minimum 3 years' experience in an audit role either in a large international or professional services firm. They will also have excellent analytical skills, the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills to communicate across different stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and quality control reviews to ensure full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Analyse, identify and assess quality control gaps ensuring that internal controls are effectively implemented and executed in a timely manner.
- Provide actionable recommendations for enhancing quality control procedures and strengthening compliance within the firm's service lines and business practices.
- Prepare finding reports on quality control reviews and recommendations for improvement for regional QC.
