We are seeking a highly skilled Staff SoC Design Verification Engineer to join our SoC Front End Design (SFD) team, specializing in end-to-end integration and pre-silicon validation for High Speed IO IPs into our client chipsets and SoC products.
This role involves collaboration across teams including IP Design, Firmware, Structural Design, DFX, emulation, and validation on aspects such as platform architecture, design, and features.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design and integration of microarchitecture/RTL logic/testbench/verification environment at various levels.
- Building capabilities within and outside the SoC Front End team.
- Validating the functionality of new architectural features by developing test plans, test content, coverage points or test tools.
- Interfaces range from Fabric, Platform Essentials, Infrastructure IPs and multiple flavors of IOs.
- Trailblazing quality and efficiency improvements as well as innovations for the organization.
- Opportunities exist for SFD-wide influence as part of job scope and growth, such as design or validation micro architecture.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who consistently looks for ways to do things more efficiently while upholding quality standards.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (Electrical Electronics or Computer System) with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Skilled in RTL Integration, various validation techniques, debug capability, and industry standard methodologies - UVM, Formal, etc. Ability to lead by example is highly sought after.
- Collaborative, able to communicate well with counterparts and key stakeholders including cross-site partners.
