The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Procurement Operations team, developing and executing strategic plans, and improving processes. They will work closely with the Global Procurement operations team and other stakeholders to drive collaboration and value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the Procurement Operations team and developing strategic plans to drive business results.
  • Improving processes and increasing efficiency through the use of technology and data analytics.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive collaboration and value creation.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.
  • Managing and tracking Procurement Operations plans and budgets, including objectives, key value drivers, and related KPIs.
  • Representing Procurement in relevant committees and governance bodies for specific agendas and creating alignment across Procurement processes.
  • Performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling spend and building a culture of long-term cost savings in procurement function for Direct materials and Contract packer.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and working with Planning Team to maintain stock levels.

Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly experienced international procurement specialist with a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing strategic plans, and improving processes. You should have a university degree in Business or a related field and 7+ years of professional experience, 3+ years of which in international procurement from a multinational company.
