Job Summary:

As a Senior Test Solution Development Engineer for automated measurement systems at Melexis, you will develop and validate the production solution for measuring, trimming, calibrating and testing our integrated circuits (ICs). Your solution will run on our fully automated production equipment (ATE). Your tasks will include the development of software and hardware ATE-applications as well as necessary documentation, validation and release of your solution. As a Senior Engineer you will guide junior engineers in an expanding team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Take ownership of complete automated measurement solution developments
  • Actively contribute to the PCB-designs and bench-setups for the IC interface hardware
  • Develop application SW and algorithms on our ATEs
  • Interact with other departments (design, operations,...) to improve automated measurement solution robustness and sustainability
  • Provide technical support to the operations team with the industrialization of the production solution
  • Write product and release documentation
  • Use statistical methods during the evaluation of measurement results and the validation of the solution
  • Keep the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for the test solution in mind and provide regular status and progress report of the test solution development project
  • Support training junior engineers

**Requirements:**

  • Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the field
  • Experience in measurement techniques and ATE
  • Good electronics hardware knowledge (device interface hardware)
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Task and time planning and organisation skills
  • Experience in software development:
  • with affinity to electronic measurement and execution time optimization
  • C and C++ and/or Python is a plus
  • bring up & verifying of the production solution system (ATE, HW, IC, SW)
